Original photo of The Blues Blah Brothers 9-piece band 10 years ago; founded 1988 by Smiffy, Sutchy & Andy (Harry).  This band is a Blues Brothers (rhythm & Blues) tribute band.  Have played almost every venue and occasion you can think of - from race courses, Nightclubs, to golf clubs, from Abbeys to Cathedrals.  Also played  regularly in Eindhoven, Holland.

Nobby G' Lead & Backing Vocals

Norbie G' has been singing and acting since he was a child in Church/Sunday School and School.  He started learning to play the guitar at 15 and joined his first (soul) band at 16.  He also writes/produces/records his own songs; appeared in TV shows, movies, done commercials & photographic modelling.  He sings soul/rhythm'n'blues, motown, funk, ska/rocksteady/reggae/soca, rock, pop and Jazz; and would still like the opportunity to also sing swing in another band/project.  He came very close to a recording deal with Arista Records in 1985.  Norbie G' has always been very passionate about singing and performing; and gets a kick from entertaining.  He's been described as an extrovert... and a Clipper - Caribbean term for good dancer.

Martin Smith (Smiffy) on vocals.

The Blues Blah Brothers would like to give a big shout out to Martin Smith (Smiffy); one of the original founder and singer/instrumentalist of the band.  Martin Smith (Smiffy) is not with the band any longer as he suffered an accident that nearly cost him his life.  Now he’s trying to cope with life the best he can.  Big up Smiffy!!!  Martin's Facebook page

Norbie G' & Andy P' Lead Vocalists

The Blues Blah Brothers (Soul Brothers) with a difference... in harmony, with audience skills and interactions.

Andy P' Lead, Backing vocals & Harmonica player

Andy Powell, was allegedly born with the blues. Until his ma told him to cheer up and go and earn a living. So for 21 years and many, many, many months, he is till trying. Sometime during his soulful life, he has had various musical instruments put in his hand, every thing from a banjo to a concertina, but he has settled on the one thing he was born for "The Blues Harp". This magical instrument compliments the recidivist singing of the said same Blue..... don't you go changing.

Stewart - Keys

Andy F' Lead/Rhythm guitarist

Born in the Town of Rugby, and took up the guitar at age 17.  A fan of 70's classic rock bands including Yes, Genesis, Deep Purple, and in particular the melodic twin lead guitars of Wishbone Ash. Played all types of music, and has toured with Cabaret and function band.  Is also a fan of Pink Floyd and has toured India on a number of occasions with tribute band Breathe the Floydsound.  Enjoys the vibe of the Blues Brothers music, and it's a fun band to be a part of.

Bob Bass Guitar

Adrian, Joe & Nick on the horn section

Adrian has been with the Blues Blah for more than 12 years and loves to add a little funk to the soul and blues experience with the smooth sound of the tenor sax.  Likes to strut with the Brothers at the front of the stage and revels in joining the crowd to make sure they are having a good time.  A Soul Man at heart, likes to earn a little Respect and will keep playing long into the Midnight Hour.  Less Blurred Lines more Brass Lines from this sax player.

Andy S' Drummer
